YEBO ACADEMY

Year Beyond is a flagship programme of the Western Cape Youth Development Strategy. It links unemployed youth to economic opportunity around the country. The Yebo Academy is one of their initiatives that develops mentors and leaders in marginalised communities.

I worked with YearBeyond to support the launch and promotion of the Yebo Academy, a new initiative within the organisation. My role included developing multimedia content that helped communicate the purpose of the academy, explain its value to key audiences, and strengthen its visibility as part of YearBeyond’s broader youth development work.

Since then, I have continued to support YearBeyond with content for its marketing and communications strategies. This has included producing digital and multimedia materials that help tell the story of its programmes, highlight participant experiences, and communicate the organisation’s impact in a clear and engaging way.
